3rd Annual Mariculture Conference of Alaska

Join us for the Mariculture Conference of Alaska, an opportunity to meet with members of the mariculture industry, hear from mariculture experts, and connect with farmers, processors, researchers, community leaders and other professionals.

The goal of the conference is to support the continued development of mariculture in the state by examining accomplishments, challenges and opportunities in research, innovative practices, educational opportunities, and drivers of industry growth.

The conference will also incorporate the NOAA Aquaculture Opportunity Areas spacial planning workshop, and annual meetings for members of the Alaska Mariculture Alliance (AMA) and Alaska Shellfish Growers Association (ASGA).

All events are at the Hotel Captain Cook, downtown Anchorage.

    • Evening reception hosted by NOAA and AFDF
  • February 27 — AMA (morning) and ASGA (afternoon) annual meetings
  • February 28 — Mariculture Conference of Alaska
    • Evening poster session and trade show reception, hosted by AFDF and Alaska Sea Grant
