Two Symphony of Seafood Winners are Finalists in the 2023 Seafood Excellence Awards

We are thrilled to share that two winners of the Alaska Symphony of Seafood are finalists in the 2023 Seafood Excellence Awards. Wild-Caught Alaska Sockeye Salmon with Kelp Chimichurri by Peter Pan Seafoods (ASOS Grand Prize Winner) and Wild Salmon Chowder by Thunder's Catch (ASOS Bristol Bay Choice Award) will compete with nine other products for two Seafood Excellence Awards: Best New Foodservice Product and Best New Retail Product. The 2023 finalists were selected from a pool of 71 entries into the exposition’s New Product Showcase, by three seafood industry experts based on a number of criteria, including: uniqueness and appropriateness to the market, taste, packaging, nutritional value, originality, and more.
